I aspire to become a dedicated career counselor for young people, particularly those aged 13-25, who are navigating the critical yet often challenging journey of choosing the right career path. Today’s Gen Z faces a world of overwhelming choices and rapidly evolving industries, making it essential to provide tailored guidance that aligns with each individual’s unique strengths, interests, and ambitions. My mission is to help young minds uncover their full potential and connect them with careers that resonate with their abilities and passions. Through comprehensive assessments, in-depth conversations, and an understanding of emerging fields, I aim to create a personalized roadmap for each student. By fostering self-discovery and encouraging informed decision-making, I hope to empower them to step confidently into careers that bring fulfillment and success, equipping them not just for today’s job market but for a meaningful and adaptable future in the world of work.

Graduating from the renowned College of Engineering Pune (COEP), one of India’s premier government engineering institutions, I began my professional journey as one of the early female site engineers to secure placement with the prestigious Shapoorji Pallonji construction company. Entering a traditionally male-dominated field, this milestone marked the beginning of a fulfilling career that blends industry experience, academic excellence, and mentorship.

I was also selected by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) for a professorial position, a recognition of my academic merit, while I chose to continue my teaching career at Shreeram Polytechnic. Over the past 25+ years, I have dedicated myself to teaching and mentoring, guiding more than 2,000 students who are now successful professionals in the civil engineering and construction industry.

Beyond classroom teaching, my role has included admission counseling, examination coordination, and mentoring students in innovative technical and practical projects, helping them develop a strong foundation in both theory and real-world engineering practices.

In addition, I am a registered Land and Building Valuer with the Institution of Valuers (IOV), which allows me to bring practical industry insights into both my teaching and consultancy work. My professional journey continues to focus on bridging academic knowledge with practical application, while inspiring the next generation of civil engineers.
